2012 :: 4/366 - Having doubts!

I'm seriously wondering if i can keep up with this P/366.  So much to do and so little time.

Have i just dug a huge hole for myself?

2012 :: 3/366 - First day of school!

I'm actually too tired to write a proper post.  So i shall note down the major points and save the post for another day.  I've been up since 5:30am.  Am wayyyy too tired!

- Ethan didn't sleep much the night before.  Woke up before alarm rang. that's 5:45am baby!
- papa, erin and mommy got up at 5:45am and got ready to send e1 to school.
- traffic near school is CRAZY! there's a JAM at 6:55am! good grief!
- the whole family walked him to class, and he fit right in! :)
- pictures of him before school and after school.
- he finds school boring!
- as usual, slow mole, eats so slowly. one of the last few to leave canteen for class!
- mommy and erin hang out in school the whole time while school is in session.
- considering whether to let him take school bus since bus timing is very do-able.  pick up 6:40am and drop off at 2:15pm.
- only downside to bus, all the nonsense he'll learn.
- heard from a mom today about a upper primary boy bragging to the younger boy about him getting intimate with another girl! *horror*

- after class, e1 has CMA.
- early dinner and off to bed.

- e2 is a darling. held out the whole morning in school. atta girl!

- mommy didn't have a chance to feel the separation anxiety coz have to look after e2.
- busy getting his things ready for 2nd day of school.
- thinking of bento boxes ideas.  in need of them

2012 :: 2/365 - Spending quality time

Today, Varpie and I spent quite fair bit of time taking photos of the kids.  It's amazing to see how much these monkies, especially Erin have grown.  Since Varpie set up the studio equipment, I manage to grab some nice shots of papa and son!

We also visited my grandma this evening.  Meeting up with my cousins, aunties and especially grandma means a lot to me.  Never fails to cheer me up whenever the kids make her happy with their little antics.

Today, we also had lunch with my god-brother Alvin.  He's truly God-sent and I love him to bits. Totally and utterly reliable in all circumstances.  I thank God for sending such a darling my way.

Today is another blissful day.  I wish everyday is like this.

Most importantly, today is the eve of the start of Ethan's mandatory school life.  He will start his primary one education tomorrow.  My baby has truly grown, not a baby anymore, but... but, he will be my baby always.  It's amazing how quickly 6 years passed.  Can't help shedding some tears when I was preparing his school's essentials.

2012 :: 1/365 - a new start

We started a tradition of celebrating new year (元旦) the Japanese way since 2010.  This year, Varpie decided we'll have the Leongs' new year luncheon at home.  So yesterday, a trip to Meidi-ya was in place to purchase the ingredients for preparing the Osechi.  We invited the Kwoks over for lunch, because Varpie and I felt terribly guilty on canceling a gathering at the eleventh hour the friday before.  For lunch, we had the usual Japanese sweets taken at new year, and finished off with shabu shabu.

As usual, the four boys had a blast! And the adults have great adult conversation! Something I am seriously in need of when I deal with the 2 kids 24/7.

It was a great way to spend the afternoon, in the company of great friends and monkeying boys!  And the babe was having fun being the center of attention! Imagine, the attention showered on her by all the kor kors!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the food nor the kids and adults. Oh well, next time!

This year, I shall attempt to update this blog as frequent as possible.  I have been very lassie faire about blogging, hope things will be better from now! ;)

Erin's birth announcement card

Over the weekend just passed, mommi was busy working on my birth announcement cards.  She designed the card and printed them at home! *yay*

The colors mommi choose are her favorites!! Heh!

The main colors are combination lilac and white; with a little accent of pink.  The lilac ribbon printed with white flowers are oh so sweet!  Mommi ended up using her entire 50 yards of ribbon on my cards.

I'm currently 31 wks 1 day old, in utero. :)

In about 7 weeks, I'll get to meet my family! Can't wait! :)
